Trout Run HI Work
Our 2008 project will be underway this month! A work weekend is scheduled for July 26th through the 28th (the first weekend has been canceled due to supplies not being shipped on time). Your help would be greatly appreciated whether you could make it out for one or all of the days. If you can volunteer, drop Randy (randy@mntu.com) an email or email Tom Dornack (brntrout@hotmail.com).

Headwaters Trout In the Classroom
The Headwaters Chapter's first year of the Trout in the Classroom project is about to come to a successful completion this month. The chapter was fortunate to have Denny Behr, Information Officer with the State of Minnesota DNR, produce a 3 minute video of the project at Northern School in Bemidji. Mission
Trout Unlimited’s mission is to conserve, protect and restore North America’s trout and salmon fisheries and their watersheds.

TU accomplishes this mission on local, state and national levels with an extensive and dedicated volunteer network. TU’s national office, based just outside of Washington, D.C., and its regional offices employ professionals who testify before Congress, publish a quarterly magazine, intervene in federal legal proceedings, and work with the organization’s 142,000 volunteers in 450 chapters nationwide to keep them active and involved in conservation issues.
