DESCRIPTION:This event is part of TCTU’s Vermillion River Initiative-a focus on protecting and enhancing this watershed so near to the Twin Cities! \nJoin us as we help the DNR continue to protect\, enhance & restore the Vermillion River watershed & this AMA for wildlife! \nWhat Will We Be Doing:\n-We are looking for up to five volunteers to identifying & remove wild parsnip & other invasives.\n-Disposing of the invasive\n-Picking up any trash we find \nWhat You Should Bring:\n-dress for the weather\n-a willingness to work hard\n-a bottle of water\n-chest waders to help protect yourself from tick & wild parsnip sap\n-a camp chair so you have a place to sit while we eat! \nWhat We Will Provide\n-the necessary tools & supplies\n-the necessary protective gear for handling wild parsnips \nWatch for an email from TCTU the day before the event for any updates or changes \nRegistration will close 24 hours before the event so we can get an accurate headcount \nRegister here\n
