Kimball, Mink and Boys Lakes
Location: Cook County, MN

Goals: Restore the lakes’ productivity, enhance trout habitat, remove non-game fish and protection the lakes from future degradation
Methods:
• Reclamation of all three lakes via rotenone and restocking of trout.
• Repair the deteriorated barrier located at the outlet of Kimball Lake with large logs and rock.
Implementation: Construction was largely completed in 2013, final wrap-up will occur in 2014.
