Location: Rice County, MN

Goals: Enhance in-stream and riparian habitat in an AMA easement area which is approximately 5,000’ in length.
Methods:
• Installation of overhead cover.
• Deepening of pools.
• Stabilization of eroding banks.
Implementation: Construction will begin summer 2014.
Project Contributors: Trout Unlimited, Rice Creek Concerned Citizens, the Cannon River Watershed Project, neighboring colleges and the MNDNR.
